Imagine the molecule above as your life… full of components like family, friends, health, wealth, work, .. List your hard components, the material ones and not your emotional experiences.

Now, according to science, every molecule on earth moves internally, and the researches on kinematics describe this through equations of movement. In simple English, molecules are not stagnant and the rule of life is that everything must move around, 24/7 for life to exist. What happens when molecules move?

The rest of the molecules linked / attached to this molecule (let’s call it component now for easier understanding) move as well in order to re-position themselves and respond to the neighboring “components” change. So 24/7, all components are in continuous motion in order to respond to changes. It’s a chain reaction of life that never ends..

If we reflect on the models described above, one question comes up… every chain reaction has a zero reaction, the ignition point that drives the whole thing to move .. so let’s think about that for a moment …

Bad boss drives you mad, you start acting with anger and impatience, you lose your temper with important people in your life, you feel bad, and the chain reaction goes on … UNTIL … someone changes the chain reaction dynamics and starts a new equation, makes you smile, then you realize you might have hurt someone close to you, then you apologize…and the reaction goes on..

Your two basic choices

During the chain reaction of positive or negative feelings, you basically have two choices:

  1. Let the chain reaction move, and wait for external factors to shift the direction.
  2. You start a new reaction yourself, aiming to challenge the current reaction.

Choice two, as much as it seems right, is a very challenging one, especially when you let the reaction run, un-controlled, for a long time. It’s again the rule of physics .. stopping a snowball uphill is much easier than waiting to stop it downhill!

If it was so easy, we all could have stopped anger and went positive all the way, right? So how do we do such a challenging task? Here are 3 simple steps:

  1. Understand that life is hedonic in nature.

If we look at the cardiogram (heart chart), you will see that it is built on ups and downs .. So for the heart to pump, it needs to show those ups and downs.. The hedonic school of thought describes happiness as a positive collective experience of happiness and pain (i.e., Happiness minus pain = Happiness), meaning that people who feel happy are still in pain but their happiness impact is greater that their pain impact.

Point to take … when you experience happiness, do this very well, take your time to feel good, don’t hassle and live the moment.

2. Let go

Now you know that life is built on ups and downs right? If you are down a valley and wish to go up, is it logic to carry all weight with you? Especially when you feel tired and exhausted physically and emotionally? Of course not .. then how about learning to reduce the weight?

Trash what makes you feel bad … delete numbers of people who give you negativity, block them, avoid poised souls and everyone who makes you down .. If you have a bad boss at work and can’t move to another department, seriously search for a new job .. Remember, if your collective feeling is negative, then even the happiness of having more money is not enough to make you a happy person. There is only one you in this world, but there are thousands of jobs out there, including starting your own project.

3. Press the restart button

We all do mistakes, and we all fall into situations that we hate.. the secret is in always realizing that it is never too late to press the restart button .. Press this button as much as you want and press it hard! Never believe someone who tells you that you can’t change .. trash them, press the button hundred times until you make it, and a hundred more until you feel good ..

As long as there is air in your lungs, then you have a chance to be a better person, you have a chance to show the world what you can do and whom you can become ..
